The Driving Licence Check checks and reports on the status of your driver’s licence type, either full or provisional, to ensure the driver can drive for work
Driver Licence Points
The drivercheck will report on the current number of points on the driver’s licence
Driver Licence Offences / Endorsements
The drivercheck will report all previous driver offences / endorsements which have been reported by DVLA (i.e. with endorsement codes for : speeding, use of mobile phone, drink driving etc.)
CPC & Tachograph Card
The drivercheck can include CPC expiry dates & Tachograph cards, inception and expiry dates are included as part of the drivercheck response
The DVLA ADD service provides each Driver Licence Check directly, which allows you to:

Is the Driver Licence Checking included within the “Driving for Work” App?
Safe2Drive includes all your drivers’ licence and drivercheck information is included within our fully integrated “Driving for Work” App. This provides your drivers with their driver licence information which removes the need for daily system management and provides far greater compliance in one cost-effective, user friendly system
How will our business be charged for the Driver Licence Check service?
This is so simple as new drivers are added to the system and the drivers’ licences are checked, these checks will be invoiced to your business (Safe2Drive provides its clients with a further 30 days to pay). No more credits in advance, No more payments upfront. Safe2Drive improves its clients cashflow by extending its customer care by providing our 30 days free trade credit
Do the Driver Licence Checks come directly from the DVLA?
Yes, Safe2Drive is connected directly with the DVLA ADD service. As all the data comes from the DVLA it ensures vehicles, drivers, and operations meet all necessary compliance requirements, thus reducing the road risk of your grey fleet and drivers.
How will I receive updates in regards to any changes or issues?
The Safe2Drive team prides themselves on customer service; this includes regular updates, calls, and emails, all to ensure our clients are informed, both with their understanding of the system and its outcomes but also the new system features to benefit them. The system itself will inform the Admin users and Drivers with alerts after the checks are completed, ensuring a proactive approach is taken.
